By accessing and using ShieldOS ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. ShieldOS is a decentralized security operating system built on the Solana blockchain, providing users with sovereign control over their digital security and data.
2. Description of Service
ShieldOS provides a comprehensive suite of decentralized security tools including:
- ShieldOS Assistant - AI-powered security assistant for blockchain operations
- ShieldOS Authenticator - Multi-factor authentication with Web3 identity verification
- ShieldOS Vault - Encrypted storage for sensitive data and digital assets
- ShieldOS Chat - End-to-end encrypted messaging with blockchain verification
- ShieldOS Drive - Distributed file storage with Web3 encryption
- ShieldOS Calendar - Decentralized scheduling with Web3 identity integration
- Additional services as may be added from time to time
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of ShieldOS, you are responsible for:
- Private Key Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your private keys, seed phrases, and wallet credentials. ShieldOS operates on a zero-knowledge architecture and cannot recover lost keys or credentials.
- Compliance: Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Accurate Information: Providing accurate and truthful information when using the Service.
- Prohibited Activities: Not using the Service for any illegal activities, fraud, money laundering, or any activities that violate these terms.
- Account Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and notifying us of any unauthorized access.
4. Decentralization and Blockchain Operations
ShieldOS operates on the Solana blockchain and utilizes decentralized protocols. You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible and that ShieldOS cannot reverse, cancel, or modify transactions once they are confirmed on the blockchain. Gas fees and network costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of ShieldOS, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the exclusive property of ShieldOS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and content stored using ShieldOS services.
6. Limitation of Liability
ShieldOS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShieldOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or crypto assets, resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. You assume all risks associated with using blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ShieldOS at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Due to the decentralized nature of the Service, data stored on blockchain networks will persist according to the protocols of those networks.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of ShieldOS after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
